This depends on how often your cat uses the litter box and how often you perform daily clean ups. It is recommended that each cat have their own litter box. We suggest changing the litter every 1.5 - 2 weeks.
Do I need a pan liner with this litter?

This product is designed so liquids are quickly trapped and absorbed before reaching the bottom of the box. It is not required to use a pan liner.
Does the litter stick to the box? Is the sent overpowering

This clumping litter isn't intended to stick to the box, and the litter is unscented.

Very Dusty
Well I read the reviews before I purchased this and after pouring this into my clean litter box I could feel dust in the air and it was really bothering me and I have an air purifier. This is ridiculous why can't you find a litter that takes care of the odor and isn't so fine that not only does it put dust in the air but the cats also track it everywhere it's like I'm giving up. I won't go through this anytime soon because I have one cat but I thought for the money I'd try it. If you're picky then don't buy it I unfortunately have to put my litter box in my tiny kitchen because my bathroom is not big enough I live in a tiny studio and this is the first time that I've used a litter that is so dusty it's horrible. Yeah you get a lot for the money but it's too heavy to pour and it's too dusty!!!

Clumps well
I considered ordering litter previously but with the weight involved usually felt it was easier to get locally. Because my store has consistently been out of or low on the litter (unscented, clumping) in their store brand when I needed more to thoroughly clean and refill several boxes, I decided to try the Frisco. It gave me the amount I needed albeit in a heavy bag. The cats haven't noticed any change and it performs as well as the other brand.

good value, good price
As an owner of 10 cats, value is imperative. This litter has been working great. I don't notice dust as some say, and my fur babies are satisfied. I have several litter boxes, I clean every other day, sprinkle in some arm and hammer, add more litter and done. Just a note, I am not really crazy, just work with rescues and foster. I tried several litters and have been using the multi-cat unscented for about 2 years now and am very pleased. Thank you chewy. Added note, I am 70 years young and had open heart, so maybe a little better packaging would help.

Not the best cat litter but works
So I waited to write the review until I gave it a week of using. There r pros and cons of this cat litter, I like that it's not dusty and that its easy scoop, what I don't like is that it isn't the best odor control while scooping I can smell the urine which is unusual for me to smell cuz I always get the odor control due to my cats UTI problem, the last thing I didn't like is when ur scooping the cat litter the small prices of cat pee doesn't clump the greatest and stays in the litter pan

fabulous for the price!
I gave this litter a chance despite the iffy reviews and I'm glad I did! With 5 cats in the house and supply prices rising rapidly, we've had to find places we can cut back on costs. Our usual litter was Arm & Hammer Double Duty and I'd say this Frisco litter is very nearly on par. I'd rate the clumping a 8/10 stars (9.5/10 when fresh), odor control 9/10 (admittedly all our boxes are in a wide open basement and it might be different in a more confined or trafficked living area), and dustiness 8/10. For the price I was honestly expecting less than great litter, but I've been pleasantly surprised! Hopefully the quality continues to be this good (I find that litter quality in general can fluctuate a LOT). If it does stay at such great quality, I plan on never swapping to a different brand. I highly recommend you give this brand a shot!

So. Much. Dust.
I was disappointed with this litter. It had so much litter dust when I was scooping out pooping I had to take a few breaks due to the amount of dust it was creating in it air. It got to the point where I just went to my local pet store, ordered a new litter, and completely replaced Frisco's litter with the new brand. I wanted to like it but it was too much.

This kitty litter is ridiculously heavy!!! I had to open the box outside, drag the bag up one step into the house and then wait for my contractor to carry it up the steps for me. His comment was it felt like a bag of cement and that I was right it was very heavy, especially for kitty litter. He nor I will EVER buy it again. I can't comment on how well it works as I haven't yet dragged it into the room where the cat box is located to try and use it.

Great value, unscented, lightweight and low dust
One of my cats has urinary issues. Had a problem with him using the litter box for quite some time, other litters had failed. But after trying this product, he started using the box again and that was well over 2 years ago. Also, I am on the autoship progam, so the 40 lb bag is delivered monthly to my front door. No more lugging a heavy bag of litter from grocery store. Plus it clumps up immediately and has excellent odor control. If you are on the fence about purchasing it, get it, you won't be sorry. This product comes in 20 and 40 lb bags.

This litter has improved!! Absolutely love it!
I bought this litter years ago, but it was so dusty. I wanted to love it, but ended up going back to our old brand. Well, I recently decided to give it another try and I'm so happy I did. It's perfect. It scoops really well. It has a very fine texture (which I'm sure is nicer for the boys to step on). The best part is that it's truly dust free!! We have a ridiculous amount of litter boxes, so dusty litter is unacceptable. I also appreciate that litter is shipped individually in boxes large enough for only one bag. I'm sure our delivery driver appreciates that too. Thanks Chewy!

Best litter
Purrfect litter, it clumps hard and easy to scoop, I always get unscented and use baking soda with essential oils to sprinkle in to freshen, I've never had an issue of my cats not liking this and from the smell you would never know I had cats.
